Our passionate team of mountain trekking imagined this pre-pitched tent for 3 people looking for lightness and habitability (2 lateral apses).
A simple & functional, lightweight and compact tent that offers good space for 3 people. 2 doors. 2 apses (storage spaces). Camp comfortably in 3 season mode.

Aluminum 7075 not anodized for better resistance and maximum lightness while guaranteeing a lower environmental impact.
Traditional dome shape that allows the structure to be self-supporting, and gives it good resistance. A summit arch brings volume and therefore habitability.

Assembly / assembly: Extremely fast assembly or assembly.
The flysheet and bedroom are pre-assembled. It is then necessary to slide the arch in the sheaths of the flysheet (color code). The assembly is also done quickly.
To store the tent in its cover, simply fold the tent on itself until it reaches about the width of the cover, fold the pole in bundles and place it on the room & the flysheet, then roll the assembly in a compact way to slip them into the cover.

Impermeability: Forclaz tents are validated in the laboratory: pitched tent, 200 liters / meter / hour (4 hours, the equivalent of tropical rain). They are also tested by a panel of users in the field.

Wind resistance: We test all our tents in a wind tunnel, in a wind tunnel on a turntable, to expose each side of the tent to the wind.
In order to guarantee its resistance to wind, the tent must be well pitched, stretched without excess, with all the shrouds well deployed around the tent. Thus it will remain habitable with a wind speed of 70 km / h near the ground.
Our tents are certified by the independent laboratory during CSTB Nantes.

Ventilation and condensation limitation: Mosquito net room for ventilation and water-repellent fabric to protect against condensation and drafts. There is great ventilation at the front of the tent, as well as ventilation at the feet.
In order to limit condensation inside the tent, it must be properly pitched, canvas stretched, without excess. The use of ventilation and good air circulation limits the humidity inside.

R eparability and knowledge: As designers and practitioners who love our playground, we take care of the durability of our products, which is why all our tents are designed to be repairable.

Seasons: 3 season tent: your tent will protect you from the difficult weather conditions that you would encounter in spring, summer or fall. It will support small snowfall but is not designed to withstand large loads that could be on the structure.
In the event of snow, remember to regularly shake your tent in order to bring down the accumulation of snow on the ground and to avoid putting too much weight on the structure of your tent.

Eco tent design: We have chosen to use a thread called “biton” for certain fabrics in this tent.
Textile dyeing requires a lot of water but also rejects waste water from dye baths. To reduce this impact on the environment, we use only one thread dyed in the mass in two, and thus reduce our consumption and our impact on water.

Eco tent design (continued): The stakes / sardines are not anodized. We have eliminated the use of nitric and phosphoric acids to fix the color because it only has an aesthetic interest.
Your sardines can have a “raw” or “used” appearance but they retain all their technical characteristics and their resistance.
These actions help limit the environmental impact of your product.
